When you’re on a date you want to know if your lady (or gentleman) is having a good time, right? We’d all like to assume that anyone on a date with us is having a splendid time but there are ways to know with some assurances that she’s having a good time and you’re about to learn how to tell if your date is having fun.
Most of the signals are physical, which makes them fairly easy to watch for on the date. If she leans forward frequently it’s a sure sign of interest and engagement in the proceedings, which is another way of saying that she’s having a good time with you. If you see her leaning back a lot then you’re probably boring her with your conversation or she’s already decided that you’re not the one for her and is planning what she’s going to wear to work tomorrow or how she’s going to blow you off after dinner so she can go out with her friends.
Frequent eye contact is a good sign your date is having fun . No one maintains eye contact indefinitely because it’s utterly unnatural and uncomfortable but when a date spends a great deal of time looking into your eyes, particularly when you’re conversing, it’s a great sign that she’s engaged and she likes you. She wants to look right at you to connect because she cares about the future with you. She wants to feel what you’re feeling as you talk with her, all of which is a good sign for you.
If she laughs a lot, even when you’re not being particularly funny, it’s another great sign that she’s into you and having a good time. If her mood is elevated she’s more likely to let out a satisfied laugh no matter what and that means you’re doing a good job. Sometimes a laugh or a big smile is a wonderful sign of joy and she’s only going to be feeling that if she’s having a good time on her date with you. This is also a great sign she is into you.
Initiation of physical touches, even small instances, is a great sign. If you’re across from each other at a restaurant table and she reaches over to touch your hand while she laughs at a joke or in a moment when your eyes have locked and you feel a powerful connection it’s a very good sign that your future with this girl is bright. If you’re walking and she touches your arm or shoulder she’s making a physical connection because she subconsciously wants you to know she’s having a good time and she likes you. Recognizing signs like that is a good way to ensure your online dating experience (or dating experience of any kind) turns out exceptionally well for you.
There are other subtle signs to look for. If she displays any sort of openness she’s most likely into you. If you’re sitting across from each other and she opens her body to you with a twist of the shoulder she’s into you. If she tells you something important, emotional, or deep then she’s into you and she trusts you enough to share. Sometimes women will play with their hair in an involuntary way as a sign of their natural attraction to you. Pick up on these signs and you can increase what you’re doing so that the two of you make a stronger connection and further your relationship and your connection to each other. If you show your date a good time you’re much more likely to get a goodnight kiss (or something more) and a second date that can lead to a lifetime of happiness with the girl of your dreams.
